We The People

We the people own and operate the United States Of America.

We operate the United States by electing people to execute the American principles and laws that represent America.

When the people we elect do not execute the American principles and laws that represent America, then those people need to be replaced, usually by election, or other means, if necessary.

Unfortunately and only sometimes in rare cases, (ie..like insurrection or high crimes and misdemeanors) if the people we elect do not carry out their duties responsibly, according to the laws in effect that define their duties and responsibilities, we as a people must hold our elected officials accountable for their actions.

Accountability, especially in proven cases of treason, could result in job loss, income loss, ruined lives, lifetime jail sentences or even death by execution. Those are just some of the consequences politicians may face as a result of not doing their job correctly.

For example, the President of the Unoted States is the commander in chief of theĀ  U.S., With some restrictions, the President is the supreme commander of law and order. One of theĀ  jobs of a President is the responsibility for the safety and security of every American citizen in and outside of the United States.

If the commander in chief fails in that responsibility, then he or she needs to be replaced and maybe even in some cases held accountable, without immunity, for actions taken that may harm the U.S. and its citizens.
